Tips to Build Student-Teacher Rapport in Middle School

The number ONE important aspect of teaching that I value and love about this career, is building authentic student-teacher rapport. I pride myself in doing this well and have found that spending quality time to do this almost virtually ELIMINATES any classroom management issues. The thank you’s I received from students at the end of this past school year helped reinforce to me that this is far more than an occupation for me. It is a passion—it is what I absolutely love to do. Being a teacher is the most challenging but rewarding calling! We are so lucky!
